About the Commission
The Telangana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (TGSCPCR), established on 3rd October 2019, is a pivotal institution empowered to uphold and advocate for the rights of children within the state of Telangana, India.
Functioning under the framework of the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005, the TGSCPCR is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that state laws, policies, programs, and administrative mechanisms align with the principles outlined in both the Indian Constitution and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
By promoting the key pillars of children's rights—Survival, Development, Protection, and Participation—the TGSCPCR strives to create a conducive environment where every child can flourish free from exploitation, abuse, and neglect. Through its mandate, the TGSCPCR plays a vital role in safeguarding the welfare and well-being of the children of Telangana, thereby contributing to the overall advancement and prosperity of the state.

To monitor, investigate, and ensure the effective implementation of child rights and protection mechanisms across Telangana through advocacy, policy recommendations, and direct intervention.
